Hi-Rise 2

Inspired by Dmitri Shostakovich's massive Symphony #8, I was compelled to follow up by supplying architectural images for another exploration into 'frozen music', as architecture has been termed.

 Nothing frozen about the Eighth - as supercharged as music can get!

Hi-Rise

I took a bunch of pictures of high-rise buildings all over the place. Then Dmitri Shostakovich came along with his powerhouse 'Symphonic Fragment' (1939), and I had no choice but to follow his lead. This is a tribute to him.
